SIFOTL

:: Tuesday, Feb 8th 2005 @ 11:39 :: Thoughts ::

Hi, my name is Minna and I’m an alone-in-front-of-tv-laugher. My sister can’t understand it. When she’s at the computer and hears me laughing, alone in my room, she thinks — or is convinced — I’ve gone bonkers.

I, however, don’t see any difference between social and solitary tv laughing. The programme is no less funny (or more so) when watched alone. Thus, I shouldn’t feel the need to stifle my bursts of laughter just because I happen to be alone.

My preferred SIFOTL programmes are Coupling and Scrubs. They’re hilarious.

    I’m not really a laugh-out-loud type anywhere, alone or with company.

    So when I do actually laugh out loud because something’s so funny, I don’t give a flying farg whether I’m alone or not.

    And I think people really appreciate it when I laugh out loud - since I most often do the big smiley stuff. Then they think something gotta be really, really funny that I laughed.

    I actually laugh too much. I’m always har harring at everything. Or actually I chuckle. Sometimes I really concentrate on trying not to laugh so often but it’s difficult. I’ve tried sulking, too. Nothing works!

    If people appreciate your rare laugh, they’re probably thinking that I should just shut up already. I have too much of it, it’s not even funny! :mrgreen:
