I had received the following spam comment which was sort of refreshing after the “Hi Jane! I like your site!”, “Best site I ever seen!”, “May we exchange links” comments that come in the dozens.

I don’t really understand what this means:

What is a ‘cognitive’ site?

    Man, you get the best spam.

    Received my first at the old Wordpress site. Looks like some kid started a Zelda blog and just searched other blogs for “Zelda” and goes around putting up advertisements.

    But congratulations on having the first consciously aware blog!

    A dimwit at the Wordpress support forums trackbacked a lot of WP blogs when version 1.5.1 was released. There was no reason for the trackbacks except to advertise his site.

    Oh yeah, it seems that Yoda has also visited my site: “Good site. Me very much has liked.”
