Cronulla Beach

:: Thursday, Feb 15th 2007 @ 16:30 :: Spur of the Moment, Tourist of Oz ::

My friend’s mother-in-law took me to Cronulla Beach today. On the way there we drove through a national park and it was like in a jungle there! It was all green even though there had been a bush fire a few years ago. I got an amazing look at the area because there were loads of steep hills. Beautiful!

At the beach we walked through the rocks that are under water at high tides.
Cronulla Beach, rocks Cronulla Beach, more rocks

We stopped for a bit in the shade

When we got up from the rocks onto the pathway we came across a palm tree!

Quite beautiful, isn’t it?

After the walk we went for a lunch at South Beach Seafood. I had my first taste of fish and chips and also tried some crab. The crab was in a funny looking dough ball with the claw sticking out. Really good though, quite sweet. Then we walked down a street full of shops and I bought some things to take home. Can’t tell what they are yet because my sister’s reading this. ;-)

    Nope, I’m not. What did you bought?

    You think it’s fair to say something like that? Well, you’ll get what you deserve: revenge. I have put a little surprise….somewhere….waiting for your coming. Dad found it already (he actually accidentaly tossed it to air) and I’m sure that you will find it too, when you come back. Probably as quickly as you find salmiac skulls after my sneaking…

    Wow, the ocean is stunningly blue.

    No pictures of the jungle? Did you box any kangaroos?

    I saw the jungle from a car so I couldn’t snap a photo. If I go through there or a similar place I’ll try and take a photo. Don’t know how it’ll turn out, but I’ll try.

    Unfortunately I’ve only come across artificial kangaroos for now. I sent a few of them towards Finland in the form of a postcard.

    The fish & chips I had wasn’t salty at all. There was no vinegar either. I put some tartar sauce in it which goes very well with fish.

    My sister’s younger, 18. A baby. ;-)
