Close, but no cigar
Now the sofa is here (it came 45 minutes early, around 8:30 pm) and it’s lovely!! Oh la la, check it out:

Only I noticed that the “legs” (little square stubs of sofa legs) are unevenly painted. There is proper, dark colour on some of the sides and lighter on others (like they’re missing a layer or two of paint). I’m going to go to the store to see if I they can send me new ones.
I LOVE THE SOFA! MINE!!!!!!! =p the colour is so nice and i love the design!!!! Where did you get it and how much? :P.. i like the ones @ Ikea but they are so expensive! And i haven’t seen this colour in ikea.. hm.

This is actually a Finnish design — sorry. A furniture store chain sells it and the sofas are built in a factory up north. It’s modular so you get to choose the seats (for how many people and if you’d like corners, divans etc.), the style of the armrests, the pillows (throw pillows or those square ones that I have), and the fabric. You could choose a different colour for the different parts, too. I was first thinking of getting some crazy colour (red, for example) for the stool but I figured I might grow tired of it. It’s better to liven up the place with curtains, rugs and pillows.
There are also some table pieces like a wide armrest with storage and tabletop — I was thinking about getting that, but then I thought the sofa would end up looking too massive for my home. The stool I have there is also a storage compartment; the seat can be lifted up on hinges. Don’t know what I’m going to put there, but it’s a good hiding place for stuff if visitors drop by unannounced.
To get some tabletop functionality I’m going to buy a wooden tray for the stool. I can put that inside the stool when I don’t need it, actually…

I’m shocked. The legs are supposed to be unevenly coloured (2 sides in one colour and 2 sides in another). And on top of it, the real colour is the uglier colour. I went to a store today to ask about the colouring and we checked the model colours and legs.
I’m going to have to pay a visit to a paint store because the ugly colour really bugs me.
