I had a disturbing but interesting dream this morning (yeah, it was this morning — eh, noon). \nIn my dream I had a very persistent flu. You know, your whole nasal cavity feels like it’s blocked with this half-dried sticky glue that moves in and out like a big worm in there. Yup, that sort of flu. Well, I was feeling short of breath so I was trying to clear it (*snort snort*) and thought I had got a “grip” of it (not with my hands!) and kept on trying to pull it loose.<\/p>\n
After a while it started coming loose and getting thicker and thicker. Then, there started a section where veins were growing on the mucus and I just kept pulling (I think I was literally pulling at this time). Then it stopped coming out but the string (or should I say a rope..) hadn’t broken in two so I started slowly breaking it in shreds. Finally it snapped and small beads of blood formed on the broken end — I could taste the blood in my mouth in my sleep. Then, for some reason, I was able to see the insides of my head, or actually the nasal cavity, clearly illuminated, and as I tried to snort some more, I could see a little yellowish worm-like formation (not an animal) stuck on the wall somewhere in there. It looked a bit like a coral when it suddenly retreats in its hiding place. It was the maker of this unearthly goo.<\/p>\n
See, I told you not to read it! And there I was telling my sister that she better not have bad dreams over Hannibal we watched yesterday or I’d never show her any horror movies again. I’m not having that persistent a flu actually. Or persistent maybe (since mid-September) but not heavy. Luckily. The most disturbing thing is that I still remember that dream and I can still taste the blood in my mouth…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
