Yesterday evening my sister and I went to see Star Wars III. I had got an invitation from the computer magazine, so of course I went, and I managed to drag her along.<\/p>\n

I’m no critic, so I thought the movie was good. It wasn’t mind-blowingly good, though. The scene transitions were like out of a Power Point slide show (maybe faithful to the old movies?) and the funniness of the beginning baffled me — I thought, “I didn’t remember SW was a comedy.” All the robots had silly helium voices, the events happened too fast, the mushy-mushy scenes were tacky, and my sister pointed out that Palpatine was doing a pretty good impression on Gollum. In some of the scenic views it seemed like the picture was full of garbage but I figure they were vehicles that just weren’t moving (Why weren’t they? They forgot<\/em> to animate them?)<\/p>\n Ewan McGregor shouldn’t have had a beard. That’s a big minus. But then again, he was playing Obi Wan. Hayden Christensen is just BLEURGH!
